Udasco clinic was founded in Cavite City in 1964 by Rolando L. Udasco, MD and Iluminada D. Udasco, MD. As a professor and clinical instructor at the University of Minnesota Department of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, Dr. Rolando Udasco brought the latest trends in eye surgery and treatment to different eye conditions to the province of Cavite. Being a diplomate of the American board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Rolando Udasco was ahead of his peers during his time. He was one of the first five American Board of Ophthalmology members certified to come home and serve his fellow Filipinos. His supporting and loving wife, Dra. Luming, being a physician, assisted Dr. Roly not only in the medical side but was very vital in running business side of the clinic. This was evidenced by the continuous improvements in the service and equipment acquisition of the clinic over the years. Roly and Luming had three children, Dante Mark, Donna and Deseo.
